Carmine is an exciting addition to our program! All the way from Sarah Levi’s JustWild program in Italy, this young boy is a fourth generation from an Exotic Shorthair outcross project. We welcome the genetic diversity, health, vigor that we anticipate from him and look forward to seeing the type he imparts to future generations. This lovable cat has beautiful type, a nice head shape and thick, flawless tail. He does carry marble and dilute so we may also see some of these lesser seen patterns and colors around here soon.

Carmine :

• Highly contrasted pattern on this boy.

• Huge eyes, smaller ears.

• Amazing deep, muscular body on this boy.

• A/A, B/B, C/Cs, D/d, Ta^M/ Ta^b

• HCM test is negative as of 1/2024. Both parents screened negative.

• PK-Def N/N via UC Davis.

• PRA-b N/N via UC Davis.

• Kidneys clear of PCK, normal via ultrasound. There is no relevant DNA marker for PCK in Bengals, so ultrasound is the only means of screening the kidneys currently.
